Some SageMC 6.3.9a.8 issues

Having some problems with the latest sagemc rev.

1) video browser pegs the CPU and the screen is unusable on all videos and file system pivots
2) series screen off of recorded tv has a weird display problem (see attachment)
3) genre screen doesn't show thumbnails/poster (2nd attachment)

I think item #2 also affects the popup with the theme list. When trying to change themes, the theme list popup displays a bunch of thin empty bars instead of a scrollable list.

Also in the IMDB search you have the thin lines problems in Cast, Backstage, etc. Also when using Search in SageMC you no longer get a list of shows until you narrow it down to the actual show title or they show up as a thin, cut off list entry.

I also get this in the Music section when it displays an album with lots of songs - it seems anything with a big list is affected. I'm running 6.5.13 with SMC 6.3.9.

I still can't reproduce this problem with SageTV v6.5.13.

Gerry, can you give me a title that you have verified does this in the IMDB search? That may be my last chance.

Has anyone gone back to the previous SageTV beta and verified that the problem goes away? I need as much info as I can get before I submit a bug report on this. Thanks.

Just going into TV Schedule then Series also does this for me, lots of thin lines - I'm using HD100s only.

Type The U-listed so many it is cut off so you don't see any letters
Type The Un-listed 23 entires but can see no letters and bars are mini-sized
Type The Uni- listed 6 entries-same symptoms. But now backspace so you have The Un and the list is viewed correctly. Bars are full size and letters are there and full sized.
If I go into Search, (list on right is blank) perform a search, back out and go right back in again-entire list is now there and visible.

Appears to be some kind of refresh issue.

for me the problem with the series list doesn't always happen when I navigate to the screen, it always happens when editing or selecting a title to change priority.

I've taken this back to a full install of SageMC 6_3_8. I still see the issues in Search. Imdb of TV and Movies.

EDIT: I've now also loaded SageMC 6_3_7 Full install and overwrote everything. Issue still exists. I then went back to a SageMC_6_3_9 Full install and overwrote everything. This seemd to fix the Episode isse for TV shows on a IMDB search but issues still exists for Search and Movies. Lists are messed up the same and Backstage is completely blank.

Hello Mike,

I think I may be onto it... I went into studio and checked the ignore theme for the Table for the theme selection that I was having the issue on and set the table to 3 rows and 1 column. When I loaded it into my placeshifter client, the box showed with 3 lines and not the small bars. It looks like the theme for the options box is setup to set the NumRows to 7 if NumRows== Null. I wonder if the new beta is setting that to the total rows of the data in the table causing it to try to display all entries on one screen....

Ok, I can reproduce it now. I wasn't running 6.5.13 on my extender.

So it turns out in this case that I was bitten by my own feature request.

I have already fixed the problem for the next pre-release. I'll try to get it out tomorrow night.

I suppose this is the same problem.. but I'm seeing the thin bars when I try to select a category or sub-category for an imported video.

FWIW if I delete delete the movies folder problem 1 goes away, adding the folder back even with 1 subfolder brings it back (although not as bad).
