Question on service mode
Hi,
I have some questions about the "service mode" for sageTV (ed: running windows XP). We have it installed on a computer in our living room that is shared between two people using two different accounts. 1) Will the service start with windows, or does someone need to log in? 2) Will the service interrupt recording if someone logs out? 3) Will the service interrupt recording if another account is logged into? 4) If either 2 or 3 is true, will it resume recording when a user logs in or does the interrupted recording remain truncated. Thanks, Chris Last edited by ChrisNH; 03-27-2009 at 08:17 AM. |

It starts with Windows by default. You can stop or start it manually and change the boot-up action in SageTVServiceControl.exe.
