Question about Parental Controls - is this normal behavior in Service mode?
I had to disable Service mode to change the Parental controls to be enabled. Is this normal? Or do I have a configuration problem? Or is it a bug? Tried with 4.1.3 and 4.1.5 and both appear to exhibit the same behavior. Also once they were enabled in 4.1.5 I had to disable Service mode to disable them again. This was also tried from a SageTV Client with the same results but not from a MVP client - at least not yet.
Thoughts? Thanks. BobP. |

I just sent in a question about that. Maybe something got broken, since I seem to recall it working w/clients in the past.

Thank you. I did some checking myself and from an MVP client it can be changed while in Service mode. But when logged onto a computer client with an account with the same Windows name and password as the Service mode in SageTV I am unable to enable or disable it unless the server is in GUI mode rather than Service mode. Thanks for checking.
