Moved Video files, now Sage doesn't list them.
I had to move my imported media to another drive. I read the "how to move videos.." thread, but they still do not show.
1. Stopped Sage 2. Moved media to new driv. 3. Started Sage 4. Modified Imported Media import directories to point to new location 5. Refresh Media. The videos do not show up. Any suggestions?

read FAQs on this
As I recall, if the videos are in a different drive/pathname, then the drive/pathname they were on must exist, even with empty directories. (!)  Once this happens, you can then remove the old drive/path. (this assumes you were using drive letter/path)

The folder structures are the same, just the drive letter. Old one was mapped network drive, new on is local drive.

wait wait wait! are you saying that the old and new directory structures have to exists? The old directory path is already removed from Sage and the new one added. I moved the files from the old directory so now the folders do not exist. Moved like 200+GB..

Nevermind, It took a while, but they finally showed up from the new location.
how long should it take if I rename a file for the change to show up in the library? I have it set to scan periodically.
