Weird channel change problem

I'm leaving this message up in case someone else has the same problem. The problem below was caused by the EVR video renderer.
When I switched to VMR9 everything worked fine when changing the channels. eclas

I hope someone can help. I searched the forums but couldn't find any ref to this particular problem.

I'm using Sage media center 6.59.204
java 1.60_12
Vista 64 bit

When I start sage and click Watch Live TV the channel comes up fine...no problems. Everything looks good until...

AS soon as I change channels the picture is scrambled almost like the horizontal hold isn't working. Audio is fine.
Once a channel is changed then ALL channels are scrambled...even the original one that worked when Sage first started.

To eliminate java as the problem I stopped sage and the sage service, uninstalled java, re-installed java and then started sage. Sage made me do a lot of the setup info again.
This did not fix the problem. I acts the same way.

Any ideas on this please?
