MKV and M2TS Help

I've been using Meedio for several years now and just using SageTV as a hidden PVR however now that I've replaced my old CRT in my bedroom I'm looking at purchasing an HD200 and going to SageTV full time rather than spending the money and hassle to build another htpc for a client. So far, I've got almost everything set up using just basic UI however I'm unable to play MKV and M2TS files as they play more like a slideshow than a video. In Meedio, I would just launch MPC-HC to play the files however I don't want to keep that approach in Sage because I want everything to look and feel the same regardless of which device i'm using (htpc or HD200).

My video/audio settings are as follows:
Video Renderer: EVR
MPEG2 Video Decoder Filter: Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD7)
MPEG4 Playback: DirectShow
DScaler Deinterlacing Filter: Disabled
Audio Renderer: Default
MPEG2 Audio ecoder Filter: AC3Filter

Hardware and OS
OS: Vista Ultimate 32bit
CPU: Intel e2200
Video Card: AMD HD4850
Memory: 4GB

Please let me know what other information may be needed to help resolve this. Thanks in advance!

check the client properties file for:

always_use_dshow_player=true
videoframe/vc1_video_decoder_filter=ArcSoft Video Decoder
videoframe/h264_video_decoder_filter=Cyberlink H.264/AVC Decoder(PDVD7.x)

and that a MKV splitter (either Haali or the MPCHC one) is installed.
