TV loses video sync from HD200

I'm having a problem with my HD200. At certain scene changes or video content, my TV loses sync indicated by momentarily displaying a wavy corrupted image, going blank for half a second and then it coming back to normal. If I rewind, it will happen at the same point in the video. I think it is more common for abrupt video changes or white flashes in the video.

It happens on 1080i over component from the HD200 to my Sony 36XBR400. This is a 36" 4:3 CRT HDTV. It accepts 480i/480p/1080i. The 480p video is fine. The same TV behaves perfectly with a MyHD MDP-120 and a Series 3 Tivo, both outputting 1080i component.

Has anyone else seen this? Does anybody even use HD component any more?

What firmware version are you using? I see the same problem with the latest Beta firmware and a 480i resolution. I have reported this problem to support have you?

I'm using the latest non-beta firmware. I've not reported it yet, but I will.
