quick feedback on today's beta

generally awesome.......this is quite a little overachieving box

main issues for me

1. BDMV playback added in stand alone media player mode
2. 480i fixed so native resolution is complete over hdmi!!
3. >2GB files fix so now play in upnp (also help online video i believe)

only one thing in a quick look missed the mark:
4. fix for playing TP video files--files now show up as media (good) but only play audio (bad) and the video stays on the menu as if playing an audio file

a fix for #4 (in critical path here since my default recordings are all TP) and this puppy graduates from the backup test machine in the basement exercise room to the center of the universe in the main home theater system

update on item #4 above.

some TP files play ok after all, just not all of them (some play only audio for some reason.............change TP to TS and the same file plays fine)

TP bug found and will be fixed in next release.
in the meantime, an easy work around was also found:

if only audio plays with a TP file, hit 'tv' and the video is fine

Did I ever mention, I'm really glad to have you around the SageTV forums cat6man? You are a hard-working, bug-finding, troubleticket-submitting machine and it's good to have that kind of person around.

I try to submit bugs and follow through working on them as SageTV support gives me things to try and such, but have been so darn busy I've not done as much of that lately. I remember your work on BeyondTV stuff and your technical enough to understand what's going on behind the scenes which makes things easier on SageTV support as well.

Anyway, good to have you around. And its nice to see the fast responses and updates from the SageTV guys as well. You won't find that kind of responsiveness with most other HTPC software teams.
