American Idol Blackscreen

I have an odd issue with Idol. The screen just goes black (audio works) during the live feed, but comes back up for the commercials then goes black when the show returns. Feed from Fox affilate verified okay on another set. All other channels and programs work perfectly. Any ideas?

HAUPPAUGE MPEG2 Filer

Sounds like your TV or video card doesn't support HDCP...

I had a similar problem with this weeks episode of 24 (another FOX show). I also use Overlay and the Hauppauge decoder. However, I was able to watch it if I switched to the SageTV decoder.

It was the Hauppauge decoder. Thanks for the replys.

Yep. I've pretty much given up on the Hauppauge decoder. I was having that same problem with just about all of the primetime FOX shows. I've been using nVidia's PureVideo decoder for the past week or so and have not seen the problem since the switch.
