Getting blu ray reconized on whs

I am using the latest beta of sage and have anydvd. I can copy the blu ray's just fine and stream them no problem. I cannot however acess them when they are in the drive as I can' get windows to reconize them. I tried installing the toshiba 2.5 stuff that is out there but that didn't work. And the powerdvd stuff that came with the drive doesn't work on WHS.

ANyone know how?

WHS isn't designed to play your media. Windows Media Player isn't even installed on WHS and there is a workaround if you absolutely have to have it installed on WHS.

I know whs cannot play the blu ray's. I think you are misunderstanding what I am wanting. I just need the file structure reconized to I can stream to the hd200 from the drive. I can rip them fine with anydvd on whs.

Well then with the latest beta firmware for the hd200 that's all you have to do is rip it and maintain the folder structure.

Quote:
Added support for importing BluRay BDMV folder structures. These are now recognized as a single MediaFile. They currently will appear along with DVDs so STVs won't need modifications yet to show them. The ONLY playback mechanism for these currently is the HD media extender (firmware update required). This only plays the main movie of the BluRay; it does not support any menus or other interactive features currently. It does support multiple audio tracks, chapter selection and all the standard playback controls. Subtitle support is in progress.
If you're trying to play it from the drive then you need to share out the drive and make that share an import directory with anydvd running. I believe you also need the latest beta 6.5.11 running on the server also.

Yes correct I have the drive shared and anydvd is running. But ready I can't see it on the extender until windows reconizes the structure. As windows see the disk as unreadable. REading other peoples post they install the toshiba 2.5 drivers but that didn't seem to work on WHS.

I got the ripping and playing down and I am running the latest beta.
