DirecTV and channels adding automatically
Is there anyway to disable the EPG from automatically selecting channels to be added to the program guide when they are added from the provider? DirecTV seems to add miscellaneous channels here and there on occasion and SageTV adds them to the program guide by default.

Yes-the settings are in the Detailed Setup-Automatically Enable Channles Newly Added to the EPG Lineup and set it to disabled.

If you don't disable that Directv will drive you nuts with new channels being changed constantly.. (that you normally can't get without paying more).

Can someone tell me how to get Directv's guide into my SageTV? I'm viewing Directv through my s-video input on my PC from my Directv STB.
Thanks, Mark |

If you are asking how to get the DirecTV Program Guide from the STB (set top box) to appear (are you trying to use the DirecTV remote to change channels?), you would have to hit the guide button on the DirecTV remote to do that. You should be using the guide that is set up by SageTV though for best results.
