Local DirecTV channels not downloading, hence don't have option of manually adding
Just switched to DirecTV; read through posts on DirecTV [and manually looked for D* - can't search on that as it's too short].
The posted advice has been to manually add your local channels. However, I don't see any local channels [those below 73] listed on Setup.Channel Setup. When I try and add/modify the source to redownload the channel listings, I still do not see anything below 73. When I go directly to zap2it, punch in my zip & DirecTV - San Francisco I can see all the channels. Note: I live in Oakland, not SF, but close enough. What else should I try? |

What happens if you go through the Setup Wizard to modify the current source? You should get the same lineup as Zap2it's website however, you have to go through the Setup Wizard instead of just going to Channel Setup if you are trying to get a new lineup.

If I go via the setup wizard, I still only get channels starting with 73. However via Zap2It gives me the whole lineup. [as in, it's not the same lineup]

Send an e-mail to support@freytechnologies.com with your Zip Code, Service Provider and level of Service to see if we can duplicate the problem.
