ERROR (-19): There is no MediaPlayer that can playback the selected file

I've installed a trial version of Placeshifter on my laptop to give it a try. I have Sage Media Center WHS v6.5 on my home server. I can connect to the server and I can see the cover art for the DVDs that are ripped to the server's hard drive in Video_TS folder (VOBs in each folder). But, I must have set something wrong because I keep getting this error: "There was an error playing ALOHA_SCOOBY_DOO ERROR (-19): There is no MediaPlayer that can playback the selected file" I randomly hit this movie but it seems to occur on the others I tried but sometimes the error number is (-13)...same message.

Placeshifter can't play DVDs. Purchase and use the SageTV PC Client.

So, it can't play ripped (encryption removed) videos that started as DVDs I own and now have stored on the server's hard drives? How odd but okay. Is the placeshifter then just for music on the server and any recorded TV shows?

The placeshifter was initially designed to be used to access and play your TV recordings over the Internet. (Hence the name Placeshifter) For the Linux platform I believe that's the only client there is. One of the differences between the PC Client and Placeshifter is placeshifter does not support the playing of DVDs. Check out the FAQ for more details.
