HD-100 using resolution that tv can't handle

I just upgraded to 6.5.9 and noticed that when I turn on my extender it is trying to use 480i resolution even though I have 480i turned off as a valid resolution on the extender. I get either a black screen or a screen with lines running through it. I have to manually hit the video out button now to go to 720p or to 1080i in order to use sage with the extender. This is a huge pain. I didn't have this problem before I installed the version 6.5.9.

Does anyone know why the extender will use a resolution that you have turned off within the extender's setup?
