Question about installing a newer version of Sagetv while using SageMC
If I want to update to a newer version of SageTV and I am using SageMC are there steps to take, or can I just close Sagetv and install the new version over the old? I thought I read somewhere a while back that I would have to revert to the default STV first or something, but I can't find it anymore.

Just upgrade over everything. When you first start SageTV up after he upgrade it will use the default STV. Just go into Detailed Setup-Advanced-STV Application package and choose the last SageMC_169-x.xml. Where x equals the number of plugins you have loaded. (Usually the highest number)
