Question SageMC 6.13a Question...

I hope i don't make anyone angry but i asked this question within another thread and didn't get no response so i figure i make my own thread and see if i get an answer.

Ok, i want to give thanks the the auto of SageMC... I seem to recall the first time i used it back when i first started it was missing ALOT of functions and just didn't like it. Tested it last night and i have to say, boy have SageMC v6.13a grown. I have two (2) questions though

1) How do i make my movie dirs show up like this

I have tried putting the *.jpg/png into the actual folders and into the ./GenreIcon dir and no go. I have even moved in and out the dirs and rescanned and still no go. The movies display their icons just fine, but at the root level like above i can not get the GENRE pictures to show.
Here is how mine looks

2) When watching recorded show/tv/movies, how do i make these transparent?

Thats all for now.

You need to have full meta-data for your moves (from IMDB or DVD profiler) then switch to Genre view instead of File System.

Transparency requires running VMR9.

I didn't have to run VMR on regular sageTV to get those information to be transparent?

Baah. I just answered your post in the SageMC thread, but mlbdude has the right answer. I didn't notice your screenshot was in the filesystem view.

You must have done. Overlay (the alternative) does exactly as it sounds and overlays the UI.

Where did you get meta data from? All the STV's require VMR9 for transparency. Sage does do some trick with Overlay (basically poking holes in things) but I don't think it would work with images which is what SageMC uses for all OSD's.
