Can Girder work with Placeshifter?

It should, but you may have to have Girder send keypresses instead of Windows Messages.

I think there's one using windows messages in the downloads area.

i have found a GML, but for some reason i cannot get this to work using send message or keyboard.... could anyone please help me???

You probably have an older gml that targets either the sage or the sageclient window. It's been awhile since I used Girder but you probably need to change the target window.

EDIT: Also-if you used the IRman or the USB-UIRT receiver your remote would be natively supported with Placeshifter and there would be no need for Girder.

once connected, select the USB or COM port where the receiver is connected.

I have tried targeting the placeshifter java window... i really just need the sendmessage commands or the keyboard commands. because when i try either it doest work, but i can get it to set focus on the window with the press of the remote....

I am actually using Girder with the WinLirc plugin for my remote receiver.... it recognizes my remote and everthing....

Windows messages for Sage

It's old but accurate. ALso look at using Eventghost. I'm not sure how well it will work with Placeshifter but it's easier than Girder.

Keyboard commands can be found in Detailed Settings-Commands. Just look at the IR settings and it should also show you the keyboard commands. Or set your own.
