Selecting wrong source

After Sage has been in standby, and I select say BBC1 on freeview,on a Nova TD PCI, it tunes the Sky box I have connected via a PVR 150 instead. If I then select say ITV, again on freeview, it tunes the freeview channel ok. If I now select BBC1 again, it tunes on freeview like it should. I have set encoder merit on the Nova TD to 9 (both tuners) and on the PVR150 to 1. This only happens after Sage wakes from standby.

Can anyone explain what is happening?

In a word... No!

I think the Nova-T is effectively a USB device on a PCI card. I've read on here that there are issues with them when you wake from standby. Maybe Sage can't use it immediately when it wakes so it goes for the next tuner..?

Some people use a script to stop/start sage when the PC wakes from standby. I don't know if this will help but its a thought.

The script can be found on this thread

You're not doing so bad. I can't even get my nova T to work at all after standby. All I get is a NO SIGNAL message. I think I'll have to look into some of these scripts, but to be honest I haven't got the foggiest what to do with one even if I had something that might work
