QAM Channel Numbers -- x-y vs x-y-z
I have SageTV with the HVR-1600 card. I also have a Samsung T220HD HDTV monitor. The monitor finds 12 unencrypted QAM channels (with content), numbered like 3-1, 3-3, 8-1, etc. SageTV only finds 7 of those channels, but they're numbered like 81-30-1 and 83-20-1. I can remap everything just fine to get it working, but how do I find the missing channels that the Sage autoscan doesn't pick up? The two different numbering schemes don't line up -- I can't add the physical channel 3-1 on Sage and have it work. Is there perhaps a way to get my monitor to tell me channel numbers in the x-y-z format?
And can someone here tell me what the difference is between those two channel numbering schemes? Thanks! - Drew |
