need advice on HDHR channel lineup

Seasons Greetings everyone,

I am on analog extended basic cable with Cox in the greater Lafayette (Louisiana) area, which I tune with a single Theater 650 Pro based card from Sapphire. I also have the HDHR connected to the cable system, and it picks up about 18 channels of unencrypted QAM service.

Every one of the local broadcasters has a channel on analog, a SD QAM channel, and a HD QAM channel. So this presents a slightly perplexing problem for me to create a well integrated channel lineup.

I was considering replacing the local broadcasters' analog channels in the lineup with the digital channels. One catch is that the SD digital channels don't even appear on the Cox lineup, let alone the Zap2it lineup.

Furthermore, I don't want to watch or record SD shows on the HD channels, because they are being upconverted and pillarboxed. But I do want to watch and record HD on the the HD channels.

Does anyone have some good examples of their configuration?
