HDHR lineup randomly adding channels

Every couple of weeks I notice that Sage is trying to record a new oddball channel I don't get on my HDHR. I look through my HDHR digital cable channel lineup, and sure enough, there are 3-4 new channels activated. I manually look through and disable them, but the problem keeps happening and it's getting very irritating.

Is there a way to stop Sage from automatically enabling channels when Cablevision adds new channels to their digital lineup?

Use a different line up for the HDHR compared with the STB tuner.

They are using different lineups. My problem is that when Cablevision adds a new channel to the digital lineup used by the HDHR, those new channels are automatically activated.

I don't think there's a fix for automatic channel additions, but here's the thread where the pleading and begging starts:
