M2TS AVCHD playback on Apple Macbook Client
Hey everyone,
Just tried the 6.5.4 beta, in addition to the 6.4.8 release, and I can't playback AVCHD files (they are M2TS files with h.264 1080i video and AC3 mutlichannel audio). I get pink and green distortion on the screen, the audio works sometimes. All other client functions work properly. This is on a brand new MacBook 13 inch aluminum unibody machine, 2.0Ghz. The 9600M video supports CABAC and CAVLC entropy decode offloading, so what are the chances I will see very very low CPU utilization while playing back 1080i and 1080p clips when this works?

do you have any sample clips? i'd be happy to try it out on my systems, but dont have any m2ts or mts files.

I have many! Do you use the sageTV tech support FTP site? I already have one uploaded there under the benjamin folder.
I guess I will be opening a ticket with tech support soon.
