Installation Crashes

I am trying to install SageTV on Windows XP.
Each time I tried to install, I would get one question further in the initial setup queries before it crashed.
Finally, I have gotten to the path setup menu and can get no further without a crash.

The crashes do not BSOD. Everything goes black and doesn't reset.

Has anyone seen similar issues? Is there a fix?

My machine is configured as follows:
Athlon x64 (2.6GHz, I think)
Asus A8N-VM CSM (with latest BIOS).
Hauppauge HVN-2250
NVidia 8600GT
Montego 7.1
Windows XP SP3

I have the most recent drivers on everything.

What does your Event Viewer say happened?

Event Viewer ... I'm not sure what you mean by that?

Right click on "My Computer"

Choose Manage

Click on the plus next to Event Viewer

There will be four catagories here with windows error messages.

Look in either System or Application

Red is usually error messages (ie crashes) yellow is a warning flag
