Does V 5.0.4 support the digital OTA tuner on WinTV 1600?

Hi all,

I'm trying to setup SageTV 5.0.4 (first time I've ever used Sage) with the Hauppauge HVR-1600 card. When choosing my sources, it lists the analog capture side but does not list the OTA digital side.

I've looked at the supported cards and for OTA HDTV it lists the 1600 (provided you have version 5.) I assume 5.0.4 is version 5.

Both sides (tuner and capture) worked B4 installing Sage.

Where have I gone wrong?

I'm confused. If this is the first time you're using SageTV why not use the latest version?

Fixing HTPC/Sage build for my brother-in-law (who owns the machine and the Sage license.)

Some threads indicate the 1600 digital tuner is not supported in V 5, however, under the list of supported cards, the 1600 digital is shown as being supported in V 5 or later. Peculiar.

I have convinced myself that the digital tuner for the 1600 IS NOT supported in V 5, regardless of what Sage claims.
