FFWD & Rewind issues with 6.5.3

Hello,
I upgraded to 6.5.3 yesterday from 6.4.8 becuase I am supposed to be getting 2 HD200's today or tomorrow. After doing so, when I fast forward or rewind a show it gives me the endless circle and the only way to get back to it is to kill the process or reboot the machine. This didn't happen when I had 6.4.8. I also updated Java during this upgrade. So, if anyone can help that would be great.

Thanks,
Chuck

It has to do with some beta files to fix an inaccurate timeline thing, listed in this post <http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35467> I have the same issues usually just have to kill process then restart Sage to fix it think you have to replace those beta file with ones from 6.4.8. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I read that thread, at least some of it, but was unsure of which files to replace with my 6.4.8 install. If you could let me know which file/files to replace I have my 6.4.8 copied.

Thanks,
Chuck

replace this file MpegDeMux.ax
Look for this file under c:/program files/sagetv/common
Be sure to back up the file you are replacing

I had this same problem. Replacing the MpegDeMux.ax file with the one from 6.4.8 fixed it for me. Clearly they broke something in the process of trying to fix whatever it was that they were trying to fix. Hopefully they'll get it straight before this makes release.

Thanks for that. I replaced it with the older version (6.4.8) and it now works like it used to.

Thanks again for your help,
Chuck
