Error with HDPVR when tuning to show

If i try to change the channel around the change of a show, lets say at 1:59pm or so, it will not tune and give me a tuner error. I will then have to go down and turn off the HDPVR and back on to reset it. I am using a HD100 for playback. It seems it has something to do with the creation of the video file and the change in programming. is this a known problem?
Im running 6.4.8 on WHS

Also, when tuning to channels video will studder until i skip back 10 seconds and foward ten seconds, or pause it and resume. This happens 50-60% of the time.

Is there a way to buffer slightly more of the recording before playback starts. I have tried the delay setting in the config, but it doesnt work

I have the same problems. I never thought to associate the loss of tuner with the beginning or ending of a show but it certainly could be the case.
