Sage wont work with replacement HDPVR

Hauppauge sent me a replacement HD-PVR. The original was working with sage fine, but the blaster didnt work. I plugged the new one in, and Windows XP said it found new hardware, and would not use the original drivers for some reason. I downloaded the 1.1 drivers, and ran the install.exe inside the zip. It went through some registry settings, and said it had upgraded the drivers.

I loaded Arcsoft, and it works perfectly...Unloaded arcsoft, and rebooted. Pulled up Sagetv and the HDPVR is listed, along with the channels associated with it, as is the USB ATSC tuner card, also from Hauppauge.

The tuner card work, but any time I try to go to a channel on the HDPVR, I get either "No Signal" or ERROR (-4,0x8007001f) There was an problem using the capture device. Please be sure you have the latest drivers installed for your capture device and that they are installed correctly.

I do have the latest drivers, and Im assuming they are installed correctly, since they work fine in ARCSOFT.

SageTV Version is V6.4.5.179
Java Version 1.6.0_04
Current STV File SageTV3.xml V6.4.5.6
Current STV file set version 2008072201

Can anyone help getting this running again? Between the server and the HD Media Extender, Im about to pull my hair out.

If you didn't remove the HD-PVR tuner from SageTV, do that & add it again as a new source.

Also, it looks like you are using an older SageTV v6 beta. I suggest that you update to the v6.4.8 release version.

Ok. Got it to work once, then it quit again. Ill do as you suggest. If I remove the HDPVR, will I need to manually add all the satellite channels back again with those special codes to download the guide data?

Edit: Thanks Opus... Just upgrading to the current release version fixed it. Working fine again. I had clicked the check for upgrades box, and it always said None Available, so didnt think there was. Appreciate the help.

Edit2: Spoke 2 soon. Crashed again. Going to reinstall the HDPVR in sage.

What I finally had to do, to get it to work, was:
Do a system restore to yesterday to restore the Hauppauge V1.0 driver,
then replace the replacement HDPVR with the old one (new one refused to work with the 1.0 driver), install the new version of sage you recommended, remove and re-add the HDPVR.

It is now working, and whatever happened, plugging and unplugging the two HDPVR's actually fixed the old one, which now is sending the IR commands to the sat receiver (previously the IR light would stay lit constantly anytime the unit was powered on. So, Ill send the new one back, and just stay with driver V1.0 until someone can tell me why I cant get sage to work with V1.1.

I used to enjoy all this tinkering, but now I just want to watch TV
