Player frame skips

Hi,

After years of using mythtv I thought I'd give SageTV a try. My setup is:

Pentium D 805
EVGA Nivida 7300GT (with latest driver from nvidia)
Hauppage PVR-250

I made some sample SD recordings and am getting frame skips during playback. The picture looks very good, just every 2 minutes or so the video skips ahead maybe a second. The recordings seem fine because I can rewind and then play the skipped bit just fine.

For recording / playback I'm using:

Intervideo nonCSS hauppage driver
VMR9 for the renderer
FSE
3D Accel enabled.

I've also formatted my disk with 64K clusters and have the SageTV service running.

Any help would be appreciated as I like what I see so far and will buy it if I can get the issues resolved.

I have been having something similar happen whenever my HVR 1300 tuner is in use.
I get a pixelated flicker across the screen every minute and a half or so on most OTA channels.
This seems to happen regardless what my other settings are, and also must not forget to mention that my other tuners are behaving ok.
I tried changing the encode_digital_tv_as_program_stream to false in sage.properties but only on the Hauppauge HVR 1300 and since then the flicker is gone.
This issue is still under investigation for me but this is where I got so far.
