Is Sage working on improvements to HD-PVR support?

I guess this is a question to Sage directly.

My HD-PVR to HD100 is working reasonably well now, but there are still definitely some bugs.

Most notably channel changing frequently results in (sometimes temporary, sometimes permanant) choppy video, no audio, etc. until one changes the channel again. Also, when changing channels the HD100/Sage occasionally loses the signal and have to power cycle the HD-PVR to get it back (and reboot the server if you want to change channels).

I'm also getting the occasional temporary freeze in playback (maybe video freezes for a few seconda and then resumes) although this may be from glitches coming out of my cable-box and not the HD-PVR or Sages fault.

Are these, or other improvements, on Sage's radar screen? Or is this as good as it's likely to work?

Thanks,
-Chris C.

Have you reported them?
http://www.sage.tv/request.html
and/or
Hauppauge tech support?

I'm sure if Sage knows, they're working on them, but they can't work on issues if they don't know about them.

The last time I went to report problems I never got any response at all, so I haven't tried again. I have to believe Sage knows about many of the issues if they're glancing at the HD-PVR threads at all.

I'll try again though... just thought someone from Sage might jump in

You shouldn't assume that the developers read the forums. I know if I were a developer I probably wouldn't want to because it would cloud my focus and steer me away from the larger priorities and would probably then tend to focus on the small issues users were having. So if you have an issue that you believe needs to be on their radar it should be sent directly to support. The forums are mainly for user-to-user support. Although there are the occasional exceptions.
