hd homerun second tuner

I have my first one setup in sage and it works great. However, the second one will setup but will never tune a channel. It will give me a good signal (98%) but nothing will show.
I know the signal is good enough because thru the setup manager I can watch from that 2nd tuner just fine.... am I missing something?

I had the same problem. I solved it by setting up each tuner as if it was the only tuner being used in a new setup. After you finish configuring, do not forget to shut down SageTV and re-start Sage for all turner changes to take effect.

Did you follow these instructions: HDHR setup for Windows? You must do the scans for all tuners, unless you know how to copy & rename the .scn & .frq configuration files.

Have you checked your HDHR power supply & compared it to the info on the SiliconDust site about power supplies they are replacing?

The instructions do not call for restarting SageTV after configuring a tuner because it shouldn't be a needed step.

If you install a new HDHR driver, then yes you should restart SageTV afterwards. But, restarting SageTV is not needed for simple HDHR channel editor changes or after adding a tuner in SageTV... or at least I've never done that.
