Help with Initial Setup
I am using an AverMeida AverTV Hybrid NanoExpress TV Tuner Card and have Direct TV. I place the TV Tuner in the slot and connet the RCA cables from the DirectTV receiver to the card. Is this the correct steps to make this work. I have been working on setting this up for 2 hours and cannot figure it out. Please help!

Are you sure that card is suppose to work with SageTV? I don't see it on Sage's compatibility list.
Even if it does work with SageTV, how are you changing channels on your DirectTV box? Your capture card is just going to record whatever is on the DirecTV box, but it won't change the channel.
