how to setup listener/hook for close/alt+F4

SageTV can be setup to sleep when window close or alt+F4 is pressed.
How can I setup a hook or listener to stop playback of my webradio plugin when window close or alt-x is selected to put sage to sleep?
If setup a listener for the power off command that will effectively stop playback of the web radio when you click on the sleep icon or choose standby from the main menu. But the close/alt-x event seems not to be routed via these sage commands.

thanks,
-Chris

Perhaps check out the ApplicationExiting hook - see p. 57 of the v5 Studio manual. If you are only using your own routines for playing the webradio & don't do anything in terms of UI elements, I would think it would be OK.

Andy,
I already tried that one, but it's not called. Strange thing is that Sage Media Player stops playback nicely when going to sleep via ALT+F4. Guess they directly call the MediaPlayer API without goiing through the STV.

Oops -- I misread & thought you were talking about exiting. (I wasn't sure why it didn't already stop when exiting, though...)

I'll have to check more on that one.

You noticed correctly... there is nothing that notifies the STV about clicking the X or using Alt+F4 for going to sleep currently. You could submit a request to SageTV. As part of such a notification about going to sleep, I think it could also be useful to know 1) whether it is going to sleep in the system tray or entering screensaver mode, and 2) whether it was user or timeout initiated.
