Lightbulb Idea for new product :P

In consideration of current political, social, and economic events, I would like to suggest a new product for SageTV to help us sort through the morass of misinformation....

BullShifter.

BullShifter (BS) would of course have to be non-partisan. It would require incredibly powerful filtering technology and rapid searching and sorting to help us wade though all of the BullShifted content.

It would be a daunting project, but if anyone can do it, SageTV can.

Aloha,
Mike

I'm thinking better close captioning support would be required for such a lofty goal - right?

We're way ahead of you... we have that filter built into a test version already. The only problem is that nothing at all gets past the filter. Nothing gets recorded but a blank picture. Even the emergency broadcast test shown on the live TV next to the test recording setup didn't get recorded -- I guess because the filter knew it was only a test & wasn't a real emergency.

I'm pretty sure all of the Missouri Football games would make it through - no Bull Stuff going on there

It would have had to edit out some of the MNF game tonight. Refs did all they could to make sure Philly covered the spread.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It's very easy to filter all the BS.
