Zap2it and FIOSTV

How long does it usually take for Zap2It to update their tv listings to includ FIOSTV? I live in Amherst, NY, and I have an installation date in October. Is Zap2It usually pretty good about adding local lineups for FIOSTV?

I'm very interested in this question as well, as I have Sage and FIOS and today (9/11) my channels have been changed by Verizion (almost every channel has been moved) and my Zap2it listing doesn't have the new updates.

Verizon moved the channels around and added a bunch of new ones here in Delaware. It took Zap2it a couple of days to catch up. Try forcing an update. They should have the new lineup by now.

You can confirm by looking online at Zap2It. Then force updates.

The program guide finally caught up to the changes. Took 2 days, but that's not bad.

I'm right down the road from you in Orchard Park and have FIOS install scheduled for 10/30. I'm in the process of upgrading my Sage system for the big day. My dilemma is that FIOS requires STBs, so if I want to expand my existing Sage system to 4 tuners across 2 TVs, I'll need 4 STBs. Needless to say, I'm not too excited about that aspect of the transition.

How are you planning to setup your system?

I have Fios in Downingtown, PA and only use the STB (along with my HD PVR) to record Showtime and other encrypted channels. For the standard CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, etc, I use 4 HDHR's without a STB.
