optimum codec, decoder, dvd settings
I have been playing around with the different settings for playback of stored dvd's off the server via an extender using hdmi to my 1080i tv. i have set all the levels on the tv using a copy of dvd essentials.
However i am finding pixelation and not the best black levels and such. What vare the best codecs and dvd decoders to use. my server can handle the extra work it's listed on my signature. I have upgraded the sage client and extender, hdd's are runing 64k so all i think it is my settings. the extender is set to 1080i as is my tv. cheers
