SageTv h.264 decoder codec- what setting ?

If this question has been answered before then I am sorry but I have a difficult time setting up the h.264 codec in sage.
Currently if I leave it in Sagetv decoder then most of the HD .264 show play fine except A&E, it stutters very bad. So I want to try different decoder codec.
I am trying to get a better codec for h.264. Currently it gives me 2 options- Sagetv decoder for h264 and directshow or something like it.
I want to use the installed arcsoft h.264 decoder or the coreavc 1.6 that I already have installed.
In mpeg2 section all of my installed codec are there. but not for h.264. What can I do for Sage to recognize my h264 codec decoder?

Open your Sageproperty file in notepad with sage not running and edit this line;
videoframe/h264_video_decoder_filter=ArcSoft Video Decoder

In the Sage menu select "DirectShow" and then change H.264 codec's by editing the above property line for what ever codec you want to use. The name used to select the codec is called the codec's "friendly name" for example "ArcSoft Video Decoder", I would suggest you cut and paste the names from a program like "Direct Show Filter Manager" so that the name gets entered correctly.
