sagetv causes reboot while turning tv off?

I have a weird problem.

• If i turn off TV while sage tv is running, my PC is getting rebooted all the times. mcafee stopped working after reboot.
• If I minimizes the sage tv and turn off the tv, it is okay
• If i close sagetv, the scheduled recordings are also stopping. Is there anyway i can have sagetv recordings continue in the background?

It may be the remote you are using to control sage. I have one (SMK) that when you press the power button, it turns off the computer. It also has some limitiations in that I can't teach my Dish remote it's commands... The USB-UIRT sold by SageTV works great and doesn't have this problem.

You can put Sage into Service mode and then it will record without having to have SageTV opened.

How are you connecting the TV to the computer? Is it HDMI? If so perhaps the graphics card is reacting weirdly when it looses the "I'm connected properly" signal from the TV.

I couldn't get the remote working with sage tv yet. dont know where is the problem.

Yes, I am using HDMI connecting to TV directly. Why is it causing? I am using HVR-1600 remote. I am not happy with the card, have several problems
