Does Sagetv support AVerTV Hybrid Volar MAX??

Hi, I wonder about the same--it'd be nice if SageTV supports Volar Max.

I went into SageTV configuration and it recognized Volar Max Video Capture but not the Volar Max QAM Tuner device.

Gbpvr (freeware) supports Volar Max quite smoothly. From this gbpvr thread it seems Volar Max QAM works similarly to a Hauppauge QAM device:

I really like SageTV so if it supports Volar Max QAM that'd be really nice.

BTW, is there a way to add a new device in SageTV (like in gbpvr) so users can experiment with new devices that come in to the market?

I can scan channels and Sage finds them, but shows "NO Signal" when I try to tune in Sage.

So jerryt, SageTV did recognize Volar Max? What version of Sage did you use? I used Sage 6.4.8.
