MVP and MPEG Max quality + CPU @ 100%

Just got MVP in and plugged it all in.

Running Sage 5 and as far as I know this is a newer MVP(wired).
Running on WinXP 2.8Ghz 1Gig memory.
PVR 150 and PVR250

I can't seem to play shows recorded at MPEG2 MAX quality. MVP just seems to hang on the sage menu when I attempt to play the show.

I can play shows at both DVD Standard and Great. On my PC in 320 mode, even in 640 mode Great is okay (I have to look close to see PQ issues) on my new 20" TV down stars it really shows the PQ (blocky artifacts) of the MPEG quality. DVD Standard is okay, but I'd like to be able to use the MPEG2 MAX.

Anyone have any ideas? I'll have to record another show in MPEG2 MAX and see what happens, maybe it's a one off. Hard to imagine that the MVP couldn't decode stuff encoded by the PVR 150 or 250 at Max quality.

Don't think it's a bandwith issue as I can play the raw MPEG files via my laptop over the network.

Also I noticed when I came back to my PC that Sage Service was running at 50 to 100% until I recycled it.
