Nokia E71 and iPhone

I am debating if I should buy placeshifter or not. I have sagetv and it is great for sharing media in the house. I got a few hauppauge media extenders, it all works nice. Now my queation is , I have a nokia E71 phone which runs symbian OS and my wife has iphone. I was wondering if I can stream video/audio and also share pictures to these phones from home?

If sagetv/placeshifter cannot do this do you guys know of another working solutions? I tried orb and tversity but no luck. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

You could install NIELM's webserver and try a browser interface.

Placeshifter is a Java based GUI and mplayer underneath it. But it doesn't appear to be trivial to port.

I've used Orb on my Nokia N95 though works fine. The UPNP stuff is a bit flakey though. N71 is s60v3 too right ?

Is sling hardware only? or is there a software flavor for it? and does it integrate into SAGETV?

Sling can control an MCE remote, which means it can control an instance running on a PC. It is a HW compressor with a mobile phone sw front end. Hopefully soon the remote control profile for the hd extender will be up from them.
