6.4.5 locking up

We are running 6.4.5 on Linux with HD extender with latest firmware and latest STV. During last 12 hours HD Media Extender locked up on us twice. It seems like it always happened while the screensaver was running, since it was displaying photographs, but not changing it. The LED reacted on commands from remote control but the extender didnt do nothing. Once I push the power button on remote all green LEDs were turned off, but the extender was still displaying the photograph. It wasn't reacting anymore on remote control. I had to power cycle it to recover.

I'm having the exact same problem. It's happening quite often now. It hangs during photo screensaver and a hard reboot on the extender is required, but it also freezes during live tv playback. During tv playback the power button still works so i can do a soft boot to get it working again. I'm using the default STV with nothing added and the latest Extender firmware.

Yup, latest version of everything.

I am sorry I can't be of much help on this, but I will say that I used to have chronic hanging issues when I used Java 1.6. Since rolling to Java 1.5 many months ago, I have not had anything like you're describing except when it was beta related. On this current beta, 6.4.5, I am not experiencing any lockups on photo screen savers.
