Here's a strange one

Just upgraded SageTV client on an XP PC and audio not working on HD (DVB-T) content. Works fine on SD. I am using AC3 decoder, the decoder appears in the XP tray when watching SD but not for HD.

Used graphedit and both render using AC3 and play fine from graphedit.

Does anyone have any idea's or how I could debug ?

Edit sage.properties and add this line:

debug_logging=TRUE

Then try to tune HD DVB-T and close Sage. In the Sage directory will be a file called sagetv_0.txt, open that file in notepad and read for the section which shows what filters were used to build your HD playback graph. My bet would be that the graph is being Hyjacked by another audio decoder installed on your system. Once your know the troublesome decoder (filter) you can lower it's merit value or remove it. Then rinse and repeat until audio plays.
