I have no answer for you on this, but is there a particular reason? Even MPEG2 @ 1080i wouldn't require more than 20mbps.

I nornally force everything on the network to either 1000 FULL Duplex or 100 Full Duplex. Sometimes I find NIC's or switches don't sync correctly.

Public service message:

Only force duplex if you can control both sides of the link. Never connect a forced Full duplex device to an auto duplex device (like an unmanaged switch) - the autonegotiation will settle on half duplex. Mixed duplex on a link = disaster.

I figured you were using a real switch, and probably had some kind of IT/networking job for that matter. The message was more for anybody stumbling on this later, in case they decided to start forcing full duplex without understanding the repersussions. I've seen a few people do it "because I want to be sure I'm getting full speed". It wasn't pretty.
