Associating PS with the Correct NIC

I have two NICs in my server. One is dedicated to my HDHomerun, and the second is my LAN/WAN connection. Of course, each device has its own IP address. Unfortunately, Placeshifter seems to consistently associate with the HDHR NIC instead of the one connected to the WAN. If I disable the second NIC, I can successfully test PS, but once the HDHR NIC is re-activated, PS reassociates with the IP address from it and can't find the internet. Anyone have an idea how to force PS to associate with the correct NIC/IP address?

BTW: During configuration, I do choose the correct device, but Sage always reports an association with the IP address from the other NIC.

Some has mentioned this in the past. I can't help you more then that but I know I have seen it discussed here before. I know I replied in that thread too, you may be able to search my username to find it. Unfortunately at the time I don't think there was a resolution.

Go to Control Panel > Network Connections and choose Advanced > Advanced Settings from the menu. On the Adapters and Bindings tab, try swapping the order of the LAN and HDHR connections.

I agree. That should do it. You may have to reboot too.

Excellent!! Thanks for the advice. I'll try as soon as I get home from work tonight. (This job...it always gets in the way of my hobbies, but it does pay for them.......)
