Vizio remote interferes with HD100

When I press the 'input' button on my Vizio remote, it stops the recording I have playing on the HD100 and puts sage to sleep.... Sort of odd, because I do not see any key on the sage remote that is used to put sage to sleep. AFAIK, no other keys on either remote interfere with any other functions. I have a '2nd batch' HD100, running 6.3 with the latest firmware.

Any other Vizio owners out there with an HD100?

I recently returned my Vizio for a different model, but the remote is identical. I did not notice this with the other remote, but may not have tried it.

Not a 'show stopper', but a bit annoying if I switch inputs momentarily on the TV.

Either that remote is sending the same IR code as the one that puts the HD100 to sleep, or it is sending one that at least looks the same.

When you say it goes to sleep, do you mean that the HD100 powers off or that it goes into screen saver mode? If it powers off, thre may not be much that can be done, but if the screen saver starts, you could try seeing if you can unlink the command in Detailed Setup -> Commands -> Unlink command. Does it show anything in the Show Command part of that setup area when you press that button on the remote?

It places sage asleep, with the screensaver on.

I just unlinked the button from the Vizio remote with your instructions and it worked!

The message I saw was, "do you want to unlink IR code 6141 from sage command: power", I clcked on yes.

The power switch on the HD100 still works, I'm not sure what 6141 is... And I'm still not sure if my new Vizio remote is defective, but happy with the workaround.
