New machine Dual Tuners

*** my first post here ***

I am setting up a new server and looking for 4 analog (cable channels) to record.

In my server I have only 3 PCI-E slots I can use.

Are there any PCI-E tuners out there that can support 2 analog inputs/recordings at the same time?

I've got the Saber2020 and I certainly wouldn't recommend it. Mine is working fine now, but it is a nightmare to get it to work in the first place and every once in a while it becomes unstable. Instead I'd look at a USB tuner and 3 of the Hauppauge combo tuners so you'd also have 3 HD tuners if you decide you need them in the future. I really wish I'd done that.

Hi, thanks for the replies.

This is for cable only (no HD) and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

It will be used at work actually, we want to record 4 different news casts at the same time everyday. I will connecting the server to a SAN and have 3TB of storage available to the unit.

Could I use two PCI-E cards and two USB ?

The sever has 8GB of ram and dual quad Core Xeon's @ 3Ghz (12mb cache per cpu).
