6.4.3 Photo Library Problem

When you first visit the photo lbrary, everything is organized properly, but as you start viewing pics in folders, very low quality thumbnails from the folders you opened, start appearing on the main library page.

I'm not picturing what is happening in my mind & am not sure what you mean... could you post what steps you performed and maybe show screen shots of what it looks like before & after? Thanks.

Let me try again:

My photos are organized \\WHS\Photos>Cars>car1.jpg, car2.jpg
>Bikes>bike1.jpg, bike2.pg
>Planes>plane1.jpg, plane2.pg

And using "Combined View", when I open up the Photo Library, I see each of those folders, and only the folders.

However, after opening up folders and viewing the photos inside...on the main library page I no longer have just the folders showing...I now have random1.jpg, random2.jpg, etc...in very low, blocky quality thumbnails in there as well. Removing and re-importing the folder clears it up until you start browsing again. Switching to "Seperate View" seems to fix it, you just have to navigate one more level to get to the folders. That make sense?

Is "random1.jpg" an actual name, or just something you made up for the description? Do the thumbs you see correspond to any images on the drive, or are they low res version of the actual photos? Double check there are no other photo import paths.

I've never seen that while using the photo browser... is this while using the default STV w/o any customizations added, or what?

If you aren't using any customizations, you should probably just submit a bug report because right now I can't think of anything that would cause what you are describing.

"Random" was just an example...they're titled as I have them in the folders. It's the default STV, but with imports. Will do, thanks.
