HDHR use single digit for physical remap?

I posted this on the Silicondust site but since there is ZERO traffic there I thought I would pose this question here.

When remapping the physical channel in SAGETV...
In the instructions it says to use the X portion of the X-Y-Z remap code. I have always typed in all three digits and had no problem. Recently when my HDHR went nuts and wouldn't tune any channels, I updated to the latest firmware and software. Now if I enter all three digits it doesn't work well. If I put in ONLY the first digit it works, but seems flakey (tunes to the wrong channel, doesn't tune, no signal etc.) but it does work better than if I use all three digits.

What are you guys doing for this.. are you doing just the first digit (x of the x-y-z) per the instructions or are you guys putting in all three despite what the instructions say to do?

I have always used just the first number. At some point the Silicondust software started generating *.scn files in the sage directory. Those files have the single trigger number in them as the phys number. I suspect if you removed or renamed the files you would be able to use the complete 3 numbers if you wanted to. The *.scn files are created when you use the Silicondust setup software to scan for channels.

I had the issue previously and began using the single digit awhile ago.
