PowerDVD taking control

I did a couple forum searches with no luck, but I can't believe this hasn't come up before. With the upcoming H264 hoopla, I purchased a copy of PowerDVD 7 ultra and loaded it up on my Sage box. Now everytime I start watching an imported video in Sage, PowerDVD fires up and Sage gets minimized. The video I am trying to play still goes on in Sage, just for some reason PowerDVD is suddenly running and the active window. This doesn't happen with TV shows, just the imported videos (thus far, haven't tried a DVD)

I haven't gone about changing the codec merits and such yet, so everything else should be as listed in my signature. I noticed there are a few powerdvd related files being loaded in the registery at startup, but didn't want to mess with those just yet. I also changed the settings inside powerdvd so that it has no files associated with it. No dice on that.

It has got to be something simple that I am just missing. Any ideas?

Never mind, I figured it out. PowerDVD was hijacking part of my firefly remote control, so when I hit the "DVD" button to jump straight to the dvd main menu in sage it loaded powerDVD. Force of habit has me hitting that button immediately after I start a video, so it appeared that playing the video started it.

I removed the "RemoteControl" entry for powerdvd from the registry and all is well in the world again.
