Does anyone have Girder?

Is anyone still using Girder 5 with Sage 6.3.x? It doesn't seem like SendMessage works any longer. The codes in the manual don't appear valid any longer. I've tried various class and window names with no luck,


Through trial an error I was able to get Play/Pause message to work but the code I'm using (that I got through a command capture) is completely different than what's in the manual. And I can't seem to capture any other commands...

I had the same problem after upgrading Sage. Turns out that the target needs to change in the TARGET screen of Girder. For me, SageWin in the NAME field with "Match Invisible Tasks" did the trick. Tedious to change everything, but it all worked afterward.

If it's like 3.2.9, you just right click the folder containing all your Sage actions and select "Set Group Targets".

Thanks a lot! Spent hours trying to get it to work and was about ready to give up.

I used an old GML that was posted here a while back and since I couldn't see the window name/task in the list I assumed it was just wrong for this version in the manual...

So what finally worked was:

Under the SendMessage task:
"Use SendMessage instead of PostMessage" Checked (This is disabled by default for some reason. maybe it's a Girder 5 thing but it won't work otherwise)

Then for the target settings:
Name: SageWin
Class: SageClientApp (since I'm using sage client)
"Match Invisible Tasks" Checked.

Interesting ... I couldn't get SendMessage to work with 6.3.1 and both EG and LM software?? Wonder if it was a similar problem.

I ended up using keystroke emulation which was a good work around ... But still wonder ...
